This rug features a new take on traditional materials. Igusa — rush grass used to make tatami mats and — is woven with hemp to create a contemporary design.
These rugs are made on an old weaving machine that requires artisan supervision. The machine can only create one rug every 3–5 days, making each rug a rare work of effort.
